Lily's loves!

We spent yesterday celebrating Christmas at my in-laws.  My husband's Aunt & Uncle came, which made my daughter soooooo happy.  You see they brought their 2 doggies with them.  She LOVES their doggies (and she also loves to talk Aunt Mary Ellen & Uncle Tom's ear off).

Daisy is her favorite, she is the one on the left.  I am pretty sure she is her favorite because she is a girl.  ;)
Chopper is the one on the right.  He is really sweet.
Lily spent forever petting these doggies.  She loved them.

They are so cute and sweet!!

I wonder what my kitties would think of a dog that is about their size?....

Wordful Wednesday - Typical

This is where I am most of the day when I am working.  You can see the tray of goodies I posted here on my Facebook fan page in the left corner of the photo.  I am usually sitting in my comfy chair at my dining room table (sadly in my tiny house there is no space for a craft room...maybe someday).
Photos like this happen when my husband picks up my camera (which is not very often).  He decided he had to take photos of the kitties for my son.  Their school is raising money for Paws & Patriots and they have a bulletin board for photos of pets.

Here are a few other photos he took. This is one of both kitties together.  (Socks is on the left and Lacy (whom I typically call Chewy) is on the right)  They are actually sisters from the same litter.
And here are a couple more of just Socks.

Because I felt Chewy Lacy needed her own close up....I personally took one of her.

Wordful Wednesday - My Divas

The other day Lily was sitting their petting the cat.  I wanted to see if there was still a problem with my new lens.  (The auto focus isn't working, I can manually focus it myself though.)  Yesterday I finally called about the lens and returned it to the manufacturer.  I can't wait to get it back.

Lily told me she looked "exquisite" with her necklaces on.  It was HILARIOUS!

Wordless Wednesday-Kitty Kitty

Everyday I have to remind Ian to shut his dresser drawers....
The kitty found a cozy bed for a few hours...
{BTW...Ian & I went through his drawers this weekend and reorganized them.  I have been on a cleaning & purging kick for the past few weeks.  I have a friend who takes all of my children's clothes.  I tried to take toys to Goodwill and they no longer accept ANY children's products and told my husband we will have a hard time finding anyone that will.  Pretty sad that the Federal Government would rather have them in landfills.  What happened to reuse & going green?  Did you hear that they want 'warnings' on hot dogs now? Ok, enough of my complaining.  Where do you take your used toys?}

Edited to add: The Salvation Army takes Childrens Toys.  YAY! We will be dropping them off on Friday.  =D

This weeks question is:
Do you have a pet?
I have 2 kitties.

Lacy...

& Socks...

They are sisters.  We adopted them a couple years ago.

They have been keeping me company while I have been sick.  My husband & I ended up with that bug the kids had.  Yippie Skippy.  I am feeling a bit better now.  Exhausted, but better.  My house is a disaster though.
