Winter Walk

I live in Buffalo and we have had a very mild winter this year.  Other years we have been dumped on, but most of the time that type of snow stays south of where I live.  We do on the other hand usually have some sort of snow.  This year we have been getting lots of rain instead.  (I am sure we will pay for this mild winter...but I am enjoying it while I can.)

Last Saturday the sun was shining and the kids were getting that cooped up craziness that is typical for this time of year, so Jeff & I decided that we should take them to the park and explore.

The kids had a great time, exploring.

It was nice to get some fresh air.

I've enjoyed being outside - even thought it seems strange that the weather hasn't turned super wintery here either. Does happen every five years or so that the winters are a bit more mild...so I'm ok if this is one of those years! What a great thing to do as a family ~ great kid shots!

Hi Melanie, I live in Northern Ontario and like you, we haven't had the snow we usually have and also have been getting quite a bit of rain. What lovely photos of your family taking a nice long walk in the park. May as well make the most of the milder weather. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris
