No surprise that we love My Little Ponies.

I still have my old ones from when I was a kid.  (or I should say Lily now has them)

Last weekend I finally tried my hand at making one.

Lily's favorite is Twilight Sparkle when she is a Alicorn. (both unicorn & pegasus)

Lily's Flying Magical Pony

I finished up the necklace with the Pegasus Unicorn I made last week for Lily.

I added a glittery cloud to the rolo chain, too.

 I asked Lily to model her new flying magical pony.

Pegasus Unicorn

Lily has been asking me for a while to make her a pegasus unicorn. She decided I should do it this morning because I have the day off of work for good Friday.  She picked out the colors and gave me direction.  It was funny listening to Lily give me direction.  Jeff kept smiling across the table listening to her. 

She is very happy with how her charm came out.  I also made a cloud charm and plan on making her a necklace with them. 

Unicorns

Every time we seem to go to Disney World, it is really HOT. 

Every time we go to Disney World, Lily asks to have her face painted. 

HOT + Face Paint = HOT mess!
so we NEVER do it.

This trip is different.

PS...LOVING the weather here in Florida!!  The sun & 70's are awesome in January!!  Much better than the single digits, snow & cloudy weather currently at home in Buffalo.

Holey Crap!

I woke up and I am now 37! 

When did that happen?!  I am sure my mom & dad feel the same way.  Nothing puts age into perspective than realizing how old your children are.

The most important thing I have learned in 37 years is that life only gets better with age...

and a bit of whimsy...

Mom, happy 37 years!  (As dad reminded me this morning, you were almost not here because you almost died that day.)  Big hugs!!  Love you to bits!  Oh and show Mia, I made her the Pegasus she asked for.  =)

I really should make my favorite birthday cake.  Maybe this weekend, I will make it with the kids.

New...Unicorns & Halloween!

I have been meaning to take a photo of all my halloween ornaments together for a few weeks now. I finally set them up for their own photo shoot. Lily had to help of course.


I really love how they all look on this glittery wire tree I bought last year at Michaels. I wish I would have bought a couple more.

Last night while making more witches and kitties I made this witch hat & candy corn.

So I know unicorns are not very fall or halloween, but my niece asked me to make her a unicorn like her Rarity My Little Pony. Lily also LOVED the idea. She told me she wanted them all of them for herself...
