This weeks question is:
How long have you been blogging?  Why did you start your blog?

My blog turned 2 years old July 18th.  I started this blog as a way for me to share my creations with customers, family and friends. I still remember contemplating starting one and wondering if anyone would read it and also wondering if my family would think I was being silly.  I am very glad I took the leap and created this blog.  It has turned into so much more over the last couple years.  Thank you to each and every one of you who have read my blog, supported my business & all of your wonderful supportive comments.  I have made some wonderful friends all over the world while blogging.  I have also been able to share my life with family & friends.  It also warms my heart when my husband comes home and says he showed people at work pictures of the kids on my blog.  {he looked at me funny when I told him I was going to start blogging}  It has been fun to look back over those years while creating my blog books.  {you can read more about the books, here.}

Looking forward to many more years.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!

August marks one year...
I started blogging as something to do while my hubby was deployed, it has now taken a more review/giveaway direction, which is fine with me...
I love blogging and all my bloggy friends I have met since this whole thing started!

I started blogging after my Mom death. Needing to have a means to talk to. My girl friend suggested blogging. It really did help me. All the thing I would talk to Mom about I did it in my Blogs. One blog turned into six blogs, all on different subjects. I talked to my Mom almost every day we all went on vacations together and her and I would talk about everything in our lives. That was 30 months ago. Today I have a At home blog(every day life), Kitchen blog( recipe and table talk),Healthy living blog(trying to stay healthy in the world),Review blog( movie and book talk), garden blog( Outdoor living), On the go blog( when I'm on vacation..real time photos), and a fitness Journal blog(airing my health issues and feelings). I do have a few more out there in bloggersworld. Some are closed to invite only.
I think blogging has filled a void in my heart.

So glad you blog too!
I started July of last year. And basically to show pics of the kids to friends and fam. Now we are moving to TX so it should come in handy to give everyone updates on our lives!

You do really well with your blog:) I don't know how you keep up. I go in spurts. I love what your husband did at work. Too cute!

My first blog was Texifornia. I started it because it was much easier to share newsy bits that way than posting them directly on my website...though the blog has become more personal over the years.

My second blog (Scribbleprints) I started to centralize promotion of the three different shops that I sell my artwork through.

I started my blog in May '08 but didn't blog again until Sept '08, when I started blogging regularly. I think I started it because my mom had one so I wanted one LOL

November will mark the two year point for me. I started blogging because I was going to start an online gift boutique and my two main competitors had a blog. I couldn't afford all the start up costs at once so I decided to learn the blogging part because it was free. Almost two years later I am still blogging but my business is going nowhere, I guess I turned blogging into my business for now.

I started my blog in February 2005 because a few people in my newsroom (I work at a newspaper) had started blogs, and I thought it would be fun too. It's now turned into a really fun place to share things with my family and friends who live far away, and I've met some really cool people from my blog over the past couple of years!

Not long at all. I created a blog mostly for my family and also to document when I travel. Nothing too exciting. :) Happy Friday!

I started my blog this week. I have surprised many people. I started it as a way to share my useless knowledge with people. I have been giving tips to friends and family for years and decided to post it in the bloggy world.

I believe May marked one year for me. Yea {I just went and checked} it was May 25th but since I blew right passed it I decided to celebrate in September when I started posting more than 5 times a month lol. I started blogging because I got pregnant VERY unexpectedly and was living away from home so I wanted to keep my very large family up to date. Funny thing is that now my family barely reads it!

I've been blogging about a year and a half. I actually started to get extra entries for giveaways. Then I went into personal blogging completely. Then I added giveaways from the hosting perspective. I don't know how I got sucked in so hard.

I started blogging sometime in 2008 July. I didn't intend for readership. I just wanted to have a journal for my inwards stuff and see if putting it down on paper would help with healing....the blog well..now it's different, but I'm slowing returning to why I started in the first place.

I started in January 08. Not sure why really, but am enjoying it.

It was 2 years on 7/19. At first, it was just a place to put my poems and random thoughts. Now, I do memes and lots of random thoughts! Sometimes movie, book or product reviews.

I started blogging in April '08 after I saw an article in the newspaper about an old friend and her blog. I saw the blogger button on my google account and decided to check it out.

Have a great weekend!

Next month will be 3 years. WOW!!!! That's a lot of posts. lol - I started because of business reasons and to understand product reviews, marketing, html, etc. but now it's just sort of evolved into a mixed bag of fitness, family shenanigans, memes, product reviews and more.

I started blogging to enter giveaways a year ago. It turned into me doing reviews and giveaways 7 months ago. For me, it's a way to relieve stress and that's why I entered giveaways. It got my mind off of other things in my life! Thanks for stopping by my blog on Friday! Have a great week!

I too started for the giveaway entries! I had always read a lot of blogs before that and was the lurker person you always know is there but never comments. The I started commenting on peoples blogs, and learning about the Meme's and then I actually started posting stuff on my blog!
I never had any idea I would end up with the friends I have made in the lovely virtual world!!
