Missing...

Last night I got a weird e-mail from Project Wonderful stating that they suspended my ads on my blog....I went huh?  Went to check my blog and it was GONE!!  I about had a heart attack.  I had such a lump in my throat and felt nauseous.

Not sure what happened...spam bots were at it I guess.  Not sure what they considered spam?  I have read over the last 3yrs this happening to people, but never had to deal with it.

THREE years of content flashed before my eyes.  All that work and time spent, GONE.  I clicked the help button and they directed me through a few steps and called me with a verification code and then my blog was back up.  THANKFULLY!

I have created blog books in the past through Blurb, but really need to catch up with the last few.

Now I, like many other people, are contemplating jumping ship from Blogger and going over to wordpress.  Have you made the switch?  Do you like it better?

And because I feel the need to share a random photo that makes me smile.....

This weeks question is:
How long have you been blogging?  Why did you start your blog?

My blog turned 2 years old July 18th.  I started this blog as a way for me to share my creations with customers, family and friends. I still remember contemplating starting one and wondering if anyone would read it and also wondering if my family would think I was being silly.  I am very glad I took the leap and created this blog.  It has turned into so much more over the last couple years.  Thank you to each and every one of you who have read my blog, supported my business & all of your wonderful supportive comments.  I have made some wonderful friends all over the world while blogging.  I have also been able to share my life with family & friends.  It also warms my heart when my husband comes home and says he showed people at work pictures of the kids on my blog.  {he looked at me funny when I told him I was going to start blogging}  It has been fun to look back over those years while creating my blog books.  {you can read more about the books, here.}

Looking forward to many more years.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!

This weeks question is:
Have you ever printed or considered printing out your blog?

While following blogs I stumbled upon this blog post over at Little Bit Funky.  I love to scrapbook, but I am very behind.  While I still plan on scrapbooking my photos, I decided that I would try out blurb and create a blog book.  I ordered my book last weekend.  I have decided I am creating one for every 6mths worth of blogging.  Which makes sense for me because I started blogging in July 2008.  I have 3 books started, but it was easiest for me to finish the last one.  Blurb was easy to use and I loved that it imported all of my info off my blog.

It arrived this afternoon by FedEx.  I LOVE it.  I now need to finish the other ones.  =D
