This weeks question is:
Do you digitally scrapbook?  If so, what program do you use?

I have been scrapbooking for years.  Actually, I used to be a Creative Memories consultant once upon a time (8yrs ago I stopped selling it).  Since I bought a digital DSLR camera last spring I have decided that instead of printing out the photos I wanted to start digital scrapbooking.  I just bought the Creative Memories digital scrapbooking program.  I got it last Friday and haven't really had much time to play with it yet.

I don't have a whole lot of time now-a-days but I use smilebox when I get a few minutes. It is very user friendly and in free for people like me who don't do a lot of it but like to do some scrapbooking.

No-I have a ton of paper scrapbook stuff-but am SOOO far behind. I've never really messed with digital scrapbooking

I digital scrap and actually use my Microsoft Publisher. I would be very interested to see what your review of the Creative Memories one is. The only review I have, is from a consultant...who obviously wants to sell it to me and is bias. LOL!!! So, please let us know how you like it! I am looking for something that allows me to upload any item I want to work with, allows me to save pages to my hard-drive, and allows me to print wherever I want.

Publisher lets me do all of these things, but I am wondering if I miss out on quality? Not sure!

I love digital b/c it lets me do 1 page without feeling guilty for making a huge mess. :)

I love the idea of digital scrapbooking, but I never seem to find time for it. Maybe when the kids get a bit older. :)

I swore I would never be a digital scrapbooker. I love being able to create things with my hands.

But....I have a few 365 friends that show their weeks worth of pictures on digital scrapbook pages and I must admit, I'm tempted to try it. :)

I wish I was a scrapbooker but I don't have the time or the patience. I have thought about digital scrapbooking because my neighbors do and it looks really cool. I think that my neighbor uses Heritage? She made the pages online and then ordered books with pages all ready to go in the books. Its very cool, but I can't remember if thats the right name or not. If you want I can ask her and get back to you.

No, I think I started blogging almost three years ago because it was a way for me to pseudo-scrapbook events. Now thanks to programs like Picnik I can add a lot of digi-scrapping pages.

I use scrapblog.com for the header of my blog. But I'm think to start using it for all my pictures.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Have a nice weekend.

I probably sound like clueless, well I am clueless:) What is digital scrapbooking. I get that it is done on the computer....but then so you store it there? Do you print it and put it in a book? Please enlighten me:)

Thanks for stopping by me. No, I do not digitally scrap book, but I do have a paper one. I personally like collages of pictures. I have many of those decorating my house too.

I consider my blog a sort of way of scrap booking. I change the backgrounds that I make from free digital pages and I talk about my family.

I don't have a whole lot of time to but would love to get into it. I want to come back to read the comments b/c I need a great program. What I do love to do with my digital pics is to make slideshows. But adding some scrapbook elements would be so neat!! ;-) Following you now! Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Nope, I've never gotten into scrapbooking. Seems like fun, though. For now, all I can do is try to put together an occasional photobook.

I've only tried one online program and I loved it! It's called Scrapblog.

I don't scrapbook and wish I did but I'm afraid of the commitment but I knwo I'll regret it but I'll put an album together for my kids with words and stuff , almost like a scrapbook.

Did any of that make sense?

You know I have the StoryBook Creator...LOVE IT!! Although I haven't done anything in a while! What I have found is that once I am done "creating" it takes less memory to save it as a PDF file instead of the one the StoryBook uses! Also I have found TONS of sites that give away free papers and embellishments instead of buying more!! Let me know if you have any questions...I might have stumbled upon some useful tips...or I might be asking you!! HA!!

Yes! I use the Creative Memories software too, and I LOVE it. I always said I'd just stick with paper scrapping, because I couldn't see the appeal, but my Consultant talked me into it. I'm so glad she did. I'm hooked. It's a lot of fun, you'll enjoy it! :)
