Cousins...

While at my parent's house last weekend we visited my sister. It is so much fun to watch our kids play together. My sister has 2 girls ages 4 and almost 2. I remember playing with my cousins when I was younger. Those are very find memories.

The kids played My Little Ponies and Littlest Pet Shop...my sister's oldest is REALLY into My Little Ponies.

Definitely no Bakugans in that pile of Ponies...Ian was definitely the only boy here.

We colored, too...

My sister's youngest was cracking me up the whole time we were there. EVERY time she noticed my camera, she would look at me and say CHEESE and give me a HUGE smile full of teeth. It was HILARIOUS! My nieces are just precious!

My kids LOVE their aunt, too!

Well, wish me luck. Tomorrow we are off (bright and early) to go hang out with friends at Watkins Glen. We were going to camp overnight, but with potty training and BM issues we have decided to spend all day and leave when they go to bed and drive home. Hope everyone has a great Labor Day Weekend!

Did you guess?

Yesterday I posted the photo to the left and was wondering if anyone could guess where it was taken. Monday was such a beautiful day, the sun was shining and it was supposed to be 69 degrees. We decided to take advantage of such a beautiful day, so we took a small trip only 30 minutes away and this is what we saw...Frankenstein eating a burger...

Which was on top of the Burger King... (my husband told me I do touristy really well with my camera...lol)

The Fudge Factory where I used to buy (way before kids) LOTS and LOTS of beanie babies (yes...I must confess, I have a lot of those in my attic). I have to admit it did not look like this then...

Inside looks even better...

We even played in a beautiful park, called the Oakes Garden Theatre.

The kids had a ball running up and down the big hill. It was such a beautiful day.

My husband had everyone do something silly.

Sneaking kisses.

Have you guessed it yet?

We went to Niagara Falls, Canada. It is so beautiful on the Canadian side of the border. I really wish the US would get their crap together and make our side look like theirs. My son really wants to go back. There is so much to see and do. The pictures of the shops/museums were taken on what is known as Clifton Hill which has changed a TON since they put the casino in the old Maple Leaf Village in 1996. That garden is beautiful and one of my favorite things...beside looking at the beautiful landmark, Niagara Falls.

Have any of you been to the falls in the winter? No, I am not crazy and yes it is cold. The falls are just GORGEOUS in the winter!! All of the mist sticks to everything and leaves this sparkly icy coating over every surface. Yes, you do have to be careful because it does get slippery. I have to laugh because one of the times my parents took us there as children I can vividly remember my father reminding us to be careful and then he went down with a big thud.

Take Me Back Tuesday

A Giveaway Addicted Mommy

September 1980

This is a photo of my first day of 1st grade. My dress was made by my mom. That is a Mork & Mindy lunch box. I loved Mork & Mindy!! (As a kid I also had a bathing suit that looked like I was wearing Mork's suspenders.) My sister's outfit is too cute! She was rockin' the sunglasses, cowboy hat, 2 belts, and the socks with sandals!

School is starting this week where we live. My son's first day of 3rd grade is Thursday. I still can not believe he is already in 3rd grade! It seems like yesterday he started 2nd.
