Adventures

One of my favorite things to do at Disney World (besides going to the parks of course) is resort hopping.  It is so fun to see the different theme of each property and their different details.  One day we hopped a bus over to Animal Kingdom Lodge (you can not go directly from your hotel...you have to take a bus to a park and then take another to the lodge property).

I pulled up the map of the property and we checked out the animal viewing areas.
Hello beautiful!
The cast members working there said that they feed them about an hour before dusk right up at the fence and the giraffes come up to visit.
The plan is to take the kids over there on our next visit during a feeding.
Animal Kingdom Lodge is a beautiful property.

This place is on my Disney bucket list. I haven't been there in years without kids, so the first time I go without them - I want to stay at the Polynesian. We usually stay at Caribbean Beach when we go with the kids every year, so it's definitely time for a change!

I've been to Disney once and we stayed at the Polynesian. We too hopped around since it was so convenient. Went down at Christmas so we went over to the Grand Floridian to see the gingerbread houses. The Polynesian was great. When we stayed there we stayed on the floor, I think it was the 3rd, can't remember, where we had food available to us 24 hours. They had a buffet type thing set up and they changed the food out depending on the time of day. Always something different. So nice with the kids - just send them down the hall when they got hungry. The luau was fantastic!
