This weeks question is:
Have you ever left your bank card in an ATM?

I had never done this...until yesterday.  What a terrible feeling to look into your wallet and notice your debit/credit card is missing.  Thankfully I knew exactly where it was....in the bank ATM I had driven through earlier in the day.  This morning they opened the machine and retrieved my card.  My husband had put a hold on the card though just in case someone took it.  The only bad thing about putting your card on hold like that is they ask you 101 questions in order to turn it back on.  Great for security, but bad for me because my husband filled out all of my info with his own info (I had no idea he had done this and he didn't know that there were separate login info that should have been done for both of us...we have had this account for FOREVER...you know before on-line banking).  So when I told them answers for myself, they were ALL wrong.  NIGHTMARE.  I finally got something right and they turned it on.

And because I need to look at something that makes me smile...

Don't you hate that sinking feeling when something like that happens?! Whenever I can't find something related to my wallet I feel this little panic come over me. Have a great Friday!

I haven't...but I've left my purse (with all my credit cards in it) all sorts of places. One of those times someone actually used it. I left the restaurant we'd been at and half way down the road realized I'd left it. We had been gone less than 10 minutes, and the purse wasn't there when we got back. Went home and immediately called my bank and there was a charge on it already! Luckily our credit card covered the charge, since we had called them immediately and cooperated with their investigation of it.

PS...like the picture of your kids at the fair. I've got some pictures of my own kids lego creations here if you want to take a look:

I haven't done it, but I feel for you! When I was in Iraq, I left my backpack on a bench...omg. Thank God an Army guy found it and I saw him looking around for me :( It's the worst feeling ever to have your atm card/id/etc not on you and left for someone else to possibly take.

So happy you got it back! And your photo is darling!

I've never done that, but I'm so stunned that nobody happened to go through and use that machine after you stealing your card! Wow!

Nope, I have not. Where I live now all of the ATM's have you swipe your card, so its always in your hand.

Kind of...:) One time the ATM took it since I did not see that it was closed so it just ate it. The second time I left it in the tube at the drive thru...luckily the person behind me was honest and gave it back to the teller.

I remember that feeling though!

What a mess. Nothing makes me more nervous or upsets me more than when I do something like that. I feel for you.

The ATM ate my card one time. and I have lost it a few times. I'm totally careless about dropping it. One time someone found it at the gas station and actually turned it into my bank - and they called me and said they found it. One time I dropped it outside the supermarket and someone turned it into them.

I really have been trying to be more careful!

Sorry to hear of your ATM fiasco. Things like that can take so much out of you.

Years ago during a move I lost my ATM card because I had it in my shirt pocket and I am sure it fell out while I was bending to pick something up. Of course a thief had to find it and use it. Luckily I was contacted by police when they actually caught the person in action.

I'm glad that your sweet photo cheered you up. Wishing you a great weekend. :)

That's probably the only thing I haven't done ... yet. Banking snafus are the worst to deal with. Good thing it worked out in the end. That's a sweet photo ... intense concentration and awesome shades!
