Playing with clay...

My son has been watching me make my clay creations ever since I can remember. He has been asking to make something out of my clay for a while now. Last night I sat down with him and let him have fun. I gave him his own tile to work on and asked him what he wanted to make. He told me he wanted to make a Piplup. For those people who don't know what that is, it's a Pokemon. My son has loved Pokemon for the past 2 years. He had a great time making his creation.

First he had to condition the clay....(of course while watching tv)

Putting finishing touches on him and making beads with the scraps....

Piplup is all finished. (The one he made is on the right...hehehehe)

I think he did great job for a 7 year old who has never worked with polymer clay before.

I think he did way better than I could! Your Etsy shop is so cute. I marked it as a Fav so I can go back later (when I'm not answering hunderds of emails a day) and order a family ornament thing. I always like to get a new ornament with our names on it each year.
