I can not believe...
That fall is just around the corner! It is very hard to imagine, especially since we have been having a bit of a heat wave here in Buffalo. YAY, summer finally arrived here. (It has been a weird summer here)

Clusters of Pumpkins, Single Pumpkin Ornaments & Black Cats
On another note, I entered my cake place card holders in the Martha Stewart's DIY Wedding Crafts Contest. You can find my entry here. I would love if everyone could give me 5 stars and leave a comment. The contest ends Sept 1st. and will be announced Oct. 15th. I have loved Martha Stewart Weddings ever since I was planning my wedding 12 years ago and saw the daisy themed wedding they did (I still have that magazine). After seeing that article I decided that I would use daisies as my theme. I made all of my favors for my wedding, polymer clay daisy magnets. Please Note: You do have to create an account with Martha Stewart's site to leave a comment or give me 5 stars.
Anywho, with fall around the corner I am itching to make new ornaments. Here are a couple that are in my shop. These made their debut last fall, but I love them. I bought a glittered tree at Michael's (with a 40% coupon) last year and hung them all over it. I put the pumpkin clusters and kitties underneath.

I still can not believe that fall is just around the corner!

What time is it?
It's time for another giveaway! I have joined MckLinkey's Giveaway Blog Hop.
This time I have decided to give away one of my gerber daisy polymer clay pendants similar to the one pictured below.
Close to the one I am wearing in this picture when I was spotted last fall.
This pendant is a bit smaller than the one I am wearing (it's a little larger than 1 inch in width). It will come on an 18" chain.

MckLinky's Weekly Blog Hop - wk3
Welcome to MckLinky's Weekly Blog Hop!!
This week the theme is 3 Things You Did Not Know About Me.
Here are 3 Things You Did Not (or maybe do) Know About Me...
- I worked full time at the headquarters to a local grocery chain until the day I gave birth to my son 8yrs ago. I was the Office Manager in the Demo Dept. As the Office Manager I billed vendors for demonstrations. Demos are the people who give out product (free food) in the stores.
- I was introduced to my husband by his brother. I worked with his brother and he is one of my best friends. It was great to go to family functions while I was dating my husband because I also had a friend there. It is still great today. When my brother in law told me about his brother I had a list of criteria that boys had to meet. You see, I had dated some doosies. So my list was that he had to 1. have a job, 2. have some life ambition (a goal), 3. not live at home. Well, he met the first 2, but he lived at home. I was not sold. I met my husband at a softball game 14 yrs ago. (he played on the same softball team as my brother in law) Well, the rest is history. BTW...my husband has 2 brothers and both of them also have red hair. And because last Saturday was my wedding anniversary I am including a photo from my wedding of my husband's family. The brother that introduced me to my husband is the 3rd from the left.
- I love daisies. They were the theme of my wedding after I saw them in a Martha Stewart Weddings magazine. I still have that magazine tucked away in my attic. I also love to take photos of flowers. Here are a couple daisy photos I took this week in my back yard.

BTW...don't forget to enter my giveaway here.

Not Me Monday - wk9
Welcome to my 9th week of Not me! Monday.
This week I did not change around my blog in an attempt to make it look a bit cleaner. Not at all because every time I posted my blog link to facebook it wouldn't pull the photo's I wanted it to. I did not read a TON of code and tutorials and did not rewrite most of my blog code myself. I know I could pay for a new design...I am not frugal. I also do not like writing code at all. Actually, I have a degree in Engineering Science and in college (way back when) I learned how to write code. At the time when I learned how to write code the wild world of the Internet wasn't like it is today, though.
Anywho...
There are now 4 columns, one post column on the left and 3 on the right side (one wide at the top & 2 below that).

I also did not add a navigation bar. I had installed one a few weeks ago with photo buttons I made, but I prefer just text now. It is not driving me insane because that text is underlined and I have no idea on how to make it not underlined. Oh well.

On Saturday I did not host a shower for my friend at her house. I am her only bridesmaid in her July 25th wedding (you can click here to see my bridesmaid dress). I did not make an army of wedding cakes as my present (62 total, but who's counting? Not ME!).
