Close to the one I am wearing in this picture when I was spotted last fall.

This pendant is a bit smaller than the one I am wearing (it's a little larger than 1 inch in width). It will come on an 18" chain.

Tuesday Blog Party

From now until May 12th, I am holding this giveaway to help benefit the Tuesday Fiona Whitt Foundation.

For those who don't know me and are coming over from the Tuesday Blog Party, welcome. For those that have been here before, thank you for coming back. My name is Melanie and I am stay at home mom of 2. I love to make whimsical creations out of polymer clay. I joined a group name SITS, where I read of Tuesday and her story. Tuesday was the beautiful twin daughter of Jessica Kate who bravely fought and sadly lost her 8 month battle with stage 4 neuroblastoma in January of this year. This annual blog party to help raise funds to fight pediatric cancer, specifically neuroblastoma, as it is the least funded of ALL cancers yet one of the most fatal.

I am auctioning off this Coach Sunglasses Case with lens cloth (yep, it's an actual genuine Coach case) & a choice of this Cherry Blossoms Necklace or Daisy Necklace pictured.

FUn Friday!

I just received an e-mail letting me know that my gerber daisy necklace is in this pretty treasury in created by Monarchdancer. Click here to be taken to the treasury. Do it quick because it expires on Sunday morning. I have been unmotivated this week to work on anything new. I have lots of ideas, but I need to get off my butt. I did make a new pendant last week (still have to take pictures). I also made this to put in the Village Artisans, a local shop (there is a groom, too...but I forgot to take pictures of him before I took him there)....Hope everyone has a fabulous Friday!!

New Creations and a Thank You!!

My friend Amy from Giggleberry Creations asked me to create a couple new custom items for her. She was my first customer and I have created many custom orders for her, see here & here. Not to mention she has become a fabulous friend across the pond in Australia. She had a baby boy named Harrison Ian (I am partial to the middle name, it's my sons) on March 1st. I was planning on sending her a baby gift when her baby bub arrived and when she asked me to create a special ornament just for him...it was a perfect idea.

She also asked me to make a special magnet for her parents, who helped her out after the baby was born. She sent me pictures and a drawing and this is what I created.

Beautiful Daisies

I have loved daisies forever. Ever since I saw them used in a Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine 11 years ago. It was so beautiful I knew I had to use them in my wedding. They were the theme of my wedding 10 years ago. After I saw this photo that Allie from allieart4children had in her shop, I wanted to create a beautiful daisy treasury. I love pink and daisies.
