Custom Ornament

Here is a special custom Christmas ornament I was asked to create.  This is the 4th year I have created an ornament for this customer.  I LOVE how she tells me what she is celebrating each year and I get to create something special for her.
This year she got engaged by the beach.  :)

Here are some photos of the finished product made by Little Star Creations.
What a cute outfit made by The Closet of Eden!
Look there is even a cute m2m brother set.

Collaberation

A few weeks ago I was approached to create a custom elephant bow center to match this Caramel Town fabric Collection by Lecien...

The center is going to go on a bow to match this outfit made by The Closet of Eden for the Playground Couture launch April 11th.
This is the elephant I made to match.  Can't wait to see them on bows.  =)

Busy Busy...

I have been one busy woman lately.  I have been busy creating custom orders for customers.
I made a couple VW bugs for one customer (one ornament and one photo holder).
Beep Beep...
I also made these holders for a little boy's birthday party.
I have a few more customs I am working on now.  If you have something in mind for Christmas, please contact me as soon as you can.  As you can imagine, Christmas gets pretty busy around here.

In between everything else, I painted my porch finally!  Only took me almost 6yrs to get around to doing it.  The color was supposed to be darker.  I guess when Jeff bought it a couple months ago, he grabbed the wrong color swatch to get.  Still looks 100% better than it did.  Now we just have to install the new iron.
I also had something really cool happen to me at the end of last week.  I was contacted by Polyform Products, the Sculpey people!!  They LOVE my creations and are looking for new designers to work with.  I talked with them a couple days ago and am happy to report I am going to be creating projects for them.  I am on cloud 9!  When I started working with polymer clay many many years ago, I always called it sculpey clay.  You see, I had no idea that it was called polymer clay and calling it sculpey clay was like calling tissues, Kleenex.

Off to go play with some clay.  =)

Please mommy...

My daughter decided the other day she wanted her own gnome. She pushed me over to my dining room table (where my clay is out) and said "please mommy, now". So who am I to disappoint my little sassy girl? She is too sweet to say no to. I was really pleased with how my little gnome turned out. I love how the hat looks like an upside down flower.
She measures 3 inches tall. I am thinking of making them as ornaments and personalizing them. I can add names to their bellies. What do you think? Any color combo suggestions?
I also was contacted by my friend, Amy's mom to create some custom Christmas Ornaments. Here is what I made... On another note

More Halloween, Apples, Custom Orders & a Giveaway...CLOSED

I have been busy this week creating Halloween decorations and custom orders.

Last week, I listed some of my new Halloween Creations in my shop and changed my blog banner. This week I have some more...
I am looking forward to apple picking in a few weeks. I created a little apple tree set, with 2 trees & 2 mini apples. These would be perfect in a terrarium or on your desk. The bigger tree is only 1.5 inches tall.

I was also contacted by Sew Cute Shop to create something for her to display her item's prices. She wanted her flower logo on them....

This is what I created for her...
Please contact me if there is something you would like to buy, but is not listed in my shop. I will make sure to list it for you.

Ok, and now finally for the giveaway. I was playing around with some rubber letter stamps I bought and made this Halloween sign. It measures 4 x 1.75 inches and has an orange grosgrain ribbon for hanging.

New Creations and a Thank You!!

My friend Amy from Giggleberry Creations asked me to create a couple new custom items for her. She was my first customer and I have created many custom orders for her, see here & here. Not to mention she has become a fabulous friend across the pond in Australia. She had a baby boy named Harrison Ian (I am partial to the middle name, it's my sons) on March 1st. I was planning on sending her a baby gift when her baby bub arrived and when she asked me to create a special ornament just for him...it was a perfect idea.

Please meet Super Boy...

She also asked me to make a special magnet for her parents, who helped her out after the baby was born. She sent me pictures and a drawing and this is what I created.

Thank you so much Amy!! Hope you enjoy!

OH yeah, I almost forgot to tell you (actually I was trying to keep it to myself). Amy is giving away this bunting here.

This morning I woke up to a pleasant surprise. FromNancysHeart included my Gerber Daisy Necklace in this beautiful treasury. Click here to be taken to the treasury. Do it quick because it expires on Monday morning.

Thank you for including me with such great talent. Love everything, especially these items...

Thank YOU!!

This is my favorite time of year. I LOVE making Christmas Ornaments and presents for people. Thanks to all of you out there who have bought from me. I have a hit a fabulous milestone on etsy. I have 101 items sold....I have made & sold many more ornaments than that, but I have had 101 etsy sales. All I can say is WOW...I had only hit 50 sales at the middle of November! I have been really blessed and hope everyone loves their ornaments for many years to come. Here are just a few more of my custom creations I have made for Customers....

A pregnant woman...A family ornament with 2 adults, 3 cats and 2 dogs. Funny story goes along with this one. She received her ornament and loved it, went to work the next day and her dog ATE half the ornament. I have made her another and the second ornament was my 100th sale. One customer asked me to commemorate the fact her son learned how to read this year. For Melanie from Sweet Pickles Pottery I made a sock monkey bracelet.

Another customer told me they call her youngest peanut, so she wanted a little girl holding a peanut.
One customer loved my snowman & babies, but wanted them in different colors.I just strung this yesterday for a good friends Sister. She is going to give it to a 16 year old girl who LOVES Hello Kitty. I think I am going to have to make one of these for my niece. =D

I did make a friend for Sherbert. This snowman didn't make it into my shop, but it will next fall.

I have lots of ideas for Valentines Day & Spring. Hoping for some sneak peaks in the beginning of January.
