FUn Friday!

I did make a new pendant last week (still have to take pictures). I also made this to put in the Village Artisans, a local shop (there is a groom, too...but I forgot to take pictures of him before I took him there)....Hope everyone has a fabulous Friday!!

New Creations and a Thank You!!

My friend Amy from Giggleberry Creations asked me to create a couple new custom items for her. She was my first customer and I have created many custom orders for her, see here & here. Not to mention she has become a fabulous friend across the pond in Australia. She had a baby boy named Harrison Ian (I am partial to the middle name, it's my sons) on March 1st. I was planning on sending her a baby gift when her baby bub arrived and when she asked me to create a special ornament just for him...it was a perfect idea.

She also asked me to make a special magnet for her parents, who helped her out after the baby was born. She sent me pictures and a drawing and this is what I created.

Today Monarchdancer included me in this cute treasury. Go here to check it out. Thank you for including my wedding cake ornament.The funny thing is I was just talking about this ornament with my friend yesterday. She is getting married in July and I am her only bridesmaid. We went dress shopping yesterday. As my gift to her, I am making her favors. She really likes the 3 tier wedding cakes. I am going to make them into place card holders that will double as photo holders. Can't wait to see how they turn out. My friend also told me that her wedding cake is going to look like my wedding cake! I am soooo flattered.

It seems that blogger has decided to remove anonymous followers. The are still following, but they are not included in the number on the left sidebar. I was a bit depressed that the number went down around 20 followers in the matter of a hour. NUTS. I am very grateful for all of my followers and would love it if you would follow me publicly.

Happy Birthday to Me

I bought myself a present today. I have never bought a Little Black Box before, but the October boxes were on sale for $15 today and I couldn't resist. I can't wait to see what fantastic surprises are in it! I am going to be participating in March's Little Black Box.

Seeing Stars

So the other day I received an e-mail from a local woman looking for Personalized Christmas Ornaments for everyone in a production her son is in. She said she found me through Google. How cool is that! She wanted the ornaments to have the production name, person's name and the year on them. After thinking about it for a minute I thought a star....because they are all stars....would be perfect. She loved the idea. These are what I came up with. She is picking them up tomorrow am. Hope she loves them as much as I do.

Loving My Winnings!

I have been very fortunate that I have won a bunch of giveaways lately. I love entering giveaways and reading other peoples blogs. I have found some really cute shops along the way. I love getting my mail.

Yesterday I received my hand painted sign I used my $35 gift certificate I won to buy anything from La Dee Dah Art. It turned out so beautiful! She did an excellent job and I can't wait to hang it in my daughter's room. I got the Abby Round Canvas.

Today I received my package from Little Pink Posies. I won one of her Posie girl necklaces. What a fantastic little doll. These dolls are inspired by vintage peg and clothespin dolls. Each are painted entirely by hand with close attention to detail. These are a one of a kind keepsakes. She also sent me one of her hair ponies. Simply beautiful creations!

They came beautifully packaged.
