My mother's great-uncle was the driver of the Maid of the Mist on the Canadian side. (I wrote about his brother here on a different take me back post).
We had so much fun! We even got to sit in the captain's chair and I got to wear his hat.

My son and I went on the Maid of the Mist on the Canadian side as well - Though we didn't get ponchos like you are pictured in. We go flimsy light blue ones that really didn't help too much since as you get closer to the falls it is very windy and it just blew off practically.

This was one of the activities I slept through on our family vacation to Niagra Falls - and I am bummed I did!! It always looks like so much fun! And these photos are so precious... Love them!

That is cool. I went on the Maid of the Mist in 6th grade. Was fun. Can't wait ot go on it again.
