2nd Annual Tuesday Blog Party

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Tuesday Blog Party!  

Last year shortly after I  joined a group named SITS, I read of Tuesday and her story.  Completely breaks my heart to hear of any family going through what the Whitts (along with too many others) have gone through.  This is my second year I am participating in the Tuesday Blog Party.



From now until May 8th, I am holding this give-away to help benefit Whatchagonnado.org, which is an organization that was founded by Charley & Jessica Whitt to honor their daughter Tuesday.  Although their site is not completely up and running yet, the idea they have is. (it will be up by mid-May)
Whatchagonnado.org is being set up to benefit families that are dealing directly with pediatric cancer. It will help to fund their medical costs, food & travel, and even funeral arrangements, if needed :(
And, of course, it will also help to provide funds for Pediatric Cancer Research.

Charley & Jess know all too well what it is to live with pediatric cancer....
Tuesday was their beautiful twin daughter who bravely fought and sadly lost her 8 month battle with stage 4 neuroblastoma in January of 2009. They learned firsthand what cancer does to a family and they want to turn their pain & their loss into something to help others.

Also for every children's bracelet I sell during the auction I will give 100% of the proceeds to the Tuesday Fiona Whitt Foundation.

Tuesday Blog Party

A little of this and that...

I have been reading a blog called, Steps for Brady for a while now. I found the blog through one of my friends on facebook. The mom, Megan, who writes the blog is from my home town of Oakfield, NY. She is a mom of 4, ages 2 and under. She has a set of triplets that just turned 2 last Friday and a daughter almost 6mths old. Her son, Brady was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma on Jan. 21st of this year.
