Hopping to the cupcake house...

Remember my Snow Scene Terrarium I made for presents this year for friends & family?...

Remember how I turned it into my Valentine Terrarium?...

My sister asked me to make an Easter pin set for the terrarium I made her for Christmas. (BTW...She still hasn't received her gift because we haven't made it down to visit yet...promise you will get it soon...with all the other holiday pins.)

So I wanted grass instead of snow. I bought some green wool roving at AC Moore and put it around the foam (go here to see the tutorial on how I made the original snow scene).

How about a closer shot?
Even closer?

After I made it I did a little happy dance. It is now on my amoire...
YAY!!
Mother nature has dumped lots of snow here over the past few days. Maybe mother nature is making up for not much snow in December & January. I am not so patiently waiting for spring. How about you?

Edited to add: You can find the set of 3 spring pins I used in my terrarium here.

That is absolutely precious! I am a new reader, so I haven't seen those previous posts. Don't be alarmed if you get a sudden spike in traffic tonight. I may be poking around the site after my kids go to bed. ;)

I too am wishing for spring-although today is supposed to get up to 60 degrees! But here in Utah-we always say give the weather 15 mins, it will change it's mind.
Love your sweet blog! Please, stop by sometime and say hello!
