Take Me Back Tuesday & Flashback Friday

June 1992
Senior Year
18yrs old
My friend, Julie, had her artwork displayed in our school art show.  I remember going on my free periods to hang out with her in the art room while she painted it.

I did not have anything entered.  I didn't take an art class that year.  I did enjoy the beautiful weather though.

You are so beautiful! Makes me long even more for Spring and taking off my shoes to sit on the grass and enjoy the sun... I say this as the plow just came by. Blech.

This brought me back to my later days in high school, on lunch breaks when we'd sit outside and soak up the sunshine. Such a nice feeling.

What a beautiful day! I think the last time anything I created was put on display at school was in the 6th grade when I did a wood block print. I remember how proud I was to see it up with all the other artwork. My mom has it framed in her house :)

If you wouldn't have said it was a painting... I would've thought it was a quilt! (that was hers, wasn't it?)

Man, I could go for some nice weather now!
