Take Me Back Tuesday & Flashback Friday

February 2003
Ian was 19mths old

I used to take him to the picture people and get the free photo every holiday.  But sadly they closed all 3 of their locations here in Buffalo when my daughter was a few months old.  I actually worked there during the holiday season of 2002...they had a fabulous employee discount.

Thank you for all of your wonderful comments on the last post. Ian is feeling MUCH better today. I kept him home today because he still had not really eaten anything yesterday.

What a smile! Is he still dazzling the girls?

We had a photo place like that when Reid was little. They left when she was about 2 and I never got anymore shots after that.

Love that big ole heart and key. Too cute.

Oh and I like your new header.

Probably a good idea to keep him home and be safe. What a fun little prop with the lock and key. Cutie!

Did you win that Michael's contest? I hope so!

I am so jealous. That is such a great picture! I will never get a picture like that. Well, unless I pay someone else to let me borrow their well-behaved child!!

Oh Melanie, I am so glad you are playing along (and that I found your blog!) We too LOVED going to the Picture People every holiday and all of ours closed as well! :(

Although I still get emailed coupons from them, so they have to be alive and kicking somewhere...

What an ADORABLE picture! Heartbreaker indeed! Hope you'll play along with Way Back When-esday often in 2010!

I did the same thing every holiday until they closed down all our local locations.

Adorable pic!

I've never taken my kids to a place like that to have their pictures taken. We had family portraits done at Sears once, but we'll probably never do it again. I think its kinda fun to setup home photo shoots though. This inspired me to setup a Valentines Day session for the kids :)

I've been dying to do studio photos...but our only two experiences...weren't good! No one wanted to cooperate. If I could save up all my pennies and do one of those deals where a photographer follows you around and gets more candid photos...I think that would work better for us.
