Wordless Wednesday - 5 Disney Dresses

I have said it many times, I have an obsession with material, cute clothes and embellishments.  Add Disney to the equation and Eek....cuteness!!
So when I opened up this package my mom sent me last week, I squealed in delight.  Yep, I wish I were 6 again so I could wear these adorable little dresses.  Lily LOVES all of them, too!
2 she made from Pillowcases (I bought 1 and she found 1 at goodwill), 2 are made of material I bought back in Nov and 1 is made from a sheet she also found at goodwill.  Because each one is soooo cute and have unique details, I am going to do a new blog post about each one separate over the next 5 days.
BTW, Woot Woot to my MOM!!  She just broke 12,200 followers last night over on Pinterest!!  She finds and pins the coolest ideas.

Day 1 - Dress 1
Day 2 - Dress 2
Day 3 - Dress 3
Day 4 - Dress 4
Day 5 - Dress 5

Wordful Wednesday - All County

Last Saturday morning we took Ian to try out for All County Band.
He was SO nervous...
We knew he would most likely not make it, but that was ok.  Erie County Band is very competitive.  It is a great experience.  If he wants to keep doing it he knows what to expect next time.  We waited for his results and he received a 97 96. (oops I was wrong)

Edited to add-  While Ian did fantastic, he did not make it.  :)

Christmas Memories 2012

I am a bit behind on going though my Christmas photos.  Better late than never right.
We have kept a couple traditions my parents did with my sister and I as a child.  Our kids are not allowed to go downstairs before we do.  Santa leaves their stockings on their beds and they can go through them, but they have to wait for us to get up and go downstairs first.  I also take a photo of the kids at the bottom of the stairs, just like the photo my father took of my sister & I every year.

This year they came down dancing...(bad photo, but it was funny)
Then they stopped for me.  :)

So then the whirlwind of opening gifts happened....
I swear it was a blur...

I put my camera down for most of the unwrapping and do not have a photo of Ian opening anything.

We had a wonderful Christmas.  Thankfully no one was sick like last year.
