Shop Update

I know school just ended here in WNY, but lots of kids start way before we do.  So you can now find these ABC & 123 chalkboards in the shop.

You can now find these Princesses (Mulan, Tiana & Merida) in the shop, too.

I also have anchors, whales & crabs in there, too.

Get them while you can.  They will be leaving the shop next week.  :)

Princesses are in the shop

I am currently open with a few princesses.  (I plan on doing other princesses after this batch, so don't fear you will see the rest.)  I will closing up again sometime at the end of next week. 

Welcome March!

Today is my one month anniversary at my new job.  LOVE it!

Today starts my husband's birthday month!  He likes to celebrate all month long.    :)

He is such a party animal.  ;)

Cinderella Revamped

I was happy to see Cinderella get a new 'hair-do'.  I think it looks sooo much better!! 

Her dress is also different from the last time we saw her.  This is what she looked like when we just went last month.

And this is the Cindy from this summer....

I personally LOVE the new 'costume' better.  I really didn't like the old wig...it looked so weird.

My husband prefers the old 'costume'.

My mom made this dress out of a pillowcase she found at goodwill.  Have you ever found anything great at goodwill?  My mom finds things all the time.

So pretty!

 The sleeves and the bottom band is made with a pink sparkly fabric.

Dress #3 - Purple Princess

Tuesday I shared these dresses.  Today is...

Day 3 - Dress3
The weekend after Thanksgiving I went to Joann's and found this material.  **A little side note about the material.  Turns out that 'character' fabric isn't the normal width.  It is actually a couple inches shorter, so when you read patterns you may need to keep that in mind.  I bought more of this fabric than the other because of the repeating pattern was so large.  I am glad I did.  

I absolutely LOVE this fabric.  I love how all the princess look clear.

 She added regular pom pom fringe on the bottom.

 And mini pom pom fringe to the sleeves.  I bought both through Pick Your Plum.

Can't wait to show you the rest of these dresses.  Tomorrow will be Dress #4.

Dress #1 - Yellow Princess Dress

Yesterday I shared these dresses and promised to share each one individually starting today.

Day 1 - Dress 1 

This one is made out of a princess sheet my mom found at goodwill.  She used this pattern I sent her to make it.

 She also found the lace at goodwill.

 Lily absolutely LOVES the lace!!

So sweet.

Can't wait to show you the rest of these dresses.  Tomorrow will be Dress #2.

Material, Patterns & an Obsession.

I am at it again....

I found this really cute Disney Princess fabric & cute dress pattern at JoAnn's Black Friday weekend (LOVE great coupons) and have sent it along with some more cute mini pom pom fringe I got from pick your plum to my mom.

I can not wait to see what she comes up with!  :D

PS - Thank you mom for making things for me.  I truly appreciate it.  LOVE you lots!  :)

Weekend of clay fun...

I have a strange sense of fun, I know.

Wordful Wednesday - Princess Merida

Two weeks ago today we saw our new favorite princess!  We were the 1st people in line to see her.  (Lily made a new friend in line...it was so sweet.  I will be posting more about her friend later.)

Lily was taken around to "find" her.  The people in her court were wonderful.

Lily showed her necklace to everyone including Merida.

I can not wait to share the photopass pictures of our meeting with Merida when I get them.  They are FANTASTIC!!
