Wordless Wednesday - Hen House

Hen House

While apple picking last Saturday we got to see some chickens...

They were pretty cool to watch. They looked like they were on the lookout for something.

Don't forget to enter my giveaway for the decoration pictured to the left, here.

Hey Melanie! I'm always fascinated at how big chicken feet are! I just mentioned your giveaway on my blog. I'm not sure how to link back to that post though. Have a great day sweetie!

Oh dear me - I narrowly missed running over a chicken this morning that looked EXACTLY like the ladies in your photos. I got a cold chill down my spine when I flipped over to this post and saw those beady eyes looking back at me. LOL!

These are great pics! My Hub's great grandparents have chickens (the breed with the feathered legs) They are so funny...they look like they have little feather chaps on.

I love the photos. Such a good composition. You have a beautiful blog. I am also jealous about apple picking. I live in Texas where there is no such thing. Sounds so fun!

Yes, they do look like that!

Awesome Pictures!!! We had a pet chicken once...she was crippled. She limped around the barnyard until the horse ended her sad life...Sorry for the depressing comment! Great Pictures though!

Cool shots of the hen house. We went apple picking a few weeks ago, and we might even go again this Saturday.

They do look like they are looking for something - probably food - lol

Maybe they were looking for Elvis the chicken. Saw him mentioned in the new children's book Chicken Dance by Tammi Sauer. By the way, thanks for the comment on our poor cat woes.
