Feeding Deer

The other day I wrote how Lily's favorite experience at Marineland was feeding the baluga whale. 

Ian's favorite thing we did at Marineland was feeding the deer.  (I remember doing this here as a kid.) 

At first there were plenty of deer that wanted food.

Or I should say a couple piggies.  ;)

Then we walked to the other side (it is a huge circle) to see if we could feed other ones.

These deer were skidish. 

Eventually we fed a few more.

The kids had a great time. 

Reindeer Tutorial

I have been wanting to do another tutorial for a while.

Here is how to make this cute little reindeer photo holder.

You will need:
Wire (I use 20 guage)
Chocolate Brown Clay
Black Clay
Red Clay
White Clay (for eyes, you can also use seed beads or marker or just black clay for these, too)
I use liquid clay between all of the joints for a better bond, but it is not necessary.

LOL, I noticed after I baked him that one of the hoofs lines were not in the front.  Oops.

You Capture - Still Life

I procrastinated on this one. I made these yesterday and thought they would be perfect. I took the photos this am.I normally do not take photos of my products with the flash, but I took the reindeer with one. I love how he came out. His shadow is popping around him.
