Pretty Princess

A couple days ago I showed you the jewelry I made my daughter for our Disney trip.  Here are the outfits she is wearing with them.

Our first day at in the parks is going to be on Mother's day.  We have our reservations already made to eat at Cinderella's Castle.  This is the dress I bought for Lily to wear.
She is going to wear it with this necklace and these korker pony-o's.

<-----Remember this outfit?  I wanted to let you know I got it here.  I bought an extra pink skirt to go under the tutu (in case she doesn't want to wear it all day).  I made this necklace & bracelet to go with it.
I asked my mom to make a couple things for Lily, too.  Lily and I went to JoAnn's and picked up some things.  =)

She made this Rapunzel skirt.
And she embellished this jean skirt.  (Lily really wanted this Sleeping Beauty patch on something and this is what we came up with.)  My mom added a pleated ruffle around the bottom.
I bought one more outfit for the trip.  I bought the tee at Old Navy (they were really cheap) and I got the skirt at The Children's Place.
Yep, I am neurotic.  Happy and neurotic.  ;)

A bit neurotic.

Only one week from today and we will be starting our road trip to Florida.  Over the last few months I have been collecting things to bring on our trip.  Yep, I am one of those people.  From clothes to goodies for the car when I see something I have been collecting it.

This week I made Lily some jewelry to wear with her outfits (I will share more about those outfits another day).

I was making Ian jewelry also (that is what the Stitch from here was for) but he has decided he would like Stitch to stay a figurine instead.  When we get home I am going to make him a Stitch photo holder and print a photo of him with Stitch to put in it (he is on a mission to see Stitch).  Someone asked me in the Stitch post about finding Stitch items....I would recommend Etsy or Ebay.  =)

Yep, that's me...a bit neurotic.  ;)

Spirit of Silver

So I love getting mail. Who doesn't like to be surprised by something beautiful in a small package? I won these pair of earings last Saturday, yep it's only Friday and I already have them! I was so excited when I found out on Monday I won them. On Saturday I was showing my mom all of the neat prizes the black box, http://www.blackboxreviews.blogspot.com/, had in their Christmas in July sale. Every hour they were doing a giveaway and all the shops that participated had some sort of sale.

I won these beautiful earings. These are from the etsy shop Spirit of Silver, http://spiritofsilver.etsy.com/. They are Blue Chalcedony with a cluster of multi colored semiprecious stones dangling above. They hand wired Tanzanite, Iolite, Peridot, Citrine and Turquoise (with little sterling silver balls and glass tiny glass beads) to a sterling silver ring. The Blue Chalcedony stones are also hand wired to the ring that hangs from French hook earwires. They measure 1 3/4" long. The Blue Chalcedony stones are approx. 3/4" x 5/8" and are valued at $32.00.

SIMPLY GORGEOUS!

Here are some more beautiful items from this shop....
