These shots were taken on Main St in Magic Kingdom in the hat shop (they are just a few of the photos I scrapbooked). The old fashioned phone is so much fun!! Not to mention trying on the ears. ;)

Scrap & Spa 2013
A week ago I went on my annual scrap & spa trip. My friends & I have been going to scrap & spa for almost 10yrs now. About 3 years ago I switched to digital scrapbooking. While I miss the
ease of printing rolls of film and cropping them, I love being able to
take more photos. This was the 1st year I got lots of pages done. I spent most of my time scrapbooking this year's photos.

Wordful Wednesday - Celebration
I am soooo excited!!
Do you see them?
....my creations!
When Louise from Adori Graphics contacted me about making embellishments for her digital scrapbook kits I was intrigued. I just started digitally scrapbooking myself and thought it would be cool to see my creations in kits. Louise is very creative and super awesome to work with and I am looking forward to collaborating with her to make more creations for her kits.
BTW...she has down-loadable free cupcake liners and invitations that match this kit, here.
For more WW check out 5 Minutes for Mom, WW & 7 Clown Circus.
I am also linking to these fabulous parties, here.

Take Me Back Tuesday & Flashback Friday
I had a great time last weekend at scrap & spa! This was the 7th time we have gone. I didn't get enough sleep & my face hurts from laughing too much. Totally worth it. I love my new CM digital scrapbooking software. I didn't get as much done as I have in the past, but that is ok. I can't wait until next year!
Onto some old photos...
Feb 20-22, 2004
Please excuse the quality of these. I scanned the whole page this morning (as much as my scanner would scan of my 12x12 page) and forgot to take off my page protector on the second one. Anyway...these were taken the first year we went. The first 4yrs we went to an Indian Reservation in Canada. We scrapbooked in the basement of the spa and slept in the hotel that you see in the second batch of photos. Ahhh...the time when our money went soooo far over in Canada and when the borders were not a pain in the butt to cross. It cost us $225 Canadian (with the conversion it cost me about $115 American) and that included a 30min spa service, 2 nights hotel stay & all my meals.

Scrap & Spa Day One
So it is @ 11pm at scrap & spa. We have been having a ball. On the way down to Ellicotville we stopped at Walmart in Springville to buy supplies (snacks and mixers for our drinks). Julie & I were the first people to arrive (besides Kathy & her friend who stayed at the inn on Thursday night). We relaxed for a bit and then went to lunch in town. There are so many cute shops in Ellicotville. We did a bit of shopping.
I have known Julie since I was a senior in high school. We graduated in 1992. This is us in 1993 (from left to right...Sarah, Me, Julie) at the Erie County Fair (now called the America's Fair).
at my wedding in 1998....
and today (2009)...

And me while blogging. Hope everyone is having a great night! Cheers!!

WOOT WOOT!!
Today I am going to Scrap & Spa!! WOOT WOOT.
My bags are all packed and I am all ready to go pick up my friend and get on the road.
Every year I go with a bunch of other women to Scrapbook all weekend with NO interruptions. My friend, Kathy, is a Creative Memories Consultant and she has been coordinating this fabulous getaway for the past 6 years. I have been going since the beginning. In the beginning we went somewhere else, but this weekend will be the 3rd year going to the Inn at Holiday Valley.
