I was so proud of Ian on Saturday.
He took part in a Cross Country Event for grades 4-6. They broke them up by grade. The girls & boys raced separately. Each school in our district had teams. The 4th grades ran 1/2 mile and the 5th & 6th raced 3/4 of a mile.
{Lily sat on Jeff's shoulders so she could see Ian run. All the while chanting GO IAN GO!}
While he didn't come in first, I am SOOOO proud that he wanted to do it and completed the 1/2 mile.
(my nephew is in 5th grade and ran also... 3/4 of a mile is a long way)
I am proud of both of them!

I wish they had cross country at #1's school. He's not that awesome at team sports, but he's a really good runner. Gets a lot of practice running from his little brotheres!
