The Barnum and Bailey Circus.
It's funny, before I scanned in these photos I remembered the outfit I wore that day to the circus. My mom made that short set. I also remember having a great time.

My Mom made a lot of outfits for me when I was little too! And I remember so many of them.
It does look like a great time, is there anything like a circus to create a great memory for a kid?
Is it just me or does the circus look exactly the same yet so different? My mom and grandma's used to make us all kinds of short sets too! If I had known then that handmade was such a precious commodity I might have appreciated it more! Have a great week!

Great memory! What could be better than going to the circus with your family??? Looked like everyone was having such a fun time.

Great pictures! I have always wanted to go the circus but I'm 29 and still haven't been....hopefully one day I'll make it there!
Wonderful photos of a childhood memory! We have the circus here in town at the moment, but there are no animals???? How can it be a 'real' circus without animals

I love your outfit. And the pictures of the circus!!! I remember going to the circus when I was young, maybe 4? I don't remember anything from the show itself, or any souveniers I might have gotten, but I remember being so excited about going. How awesome that you have pictures from your adventure :)
You and your sister are too cute in that photo... wait...are you older or younger? What fun memories! I sewed a lot of our kids clothes when they were little, but my hubby's mom was an amazing seamstress and would sew their whole family matching outfits for special occasions! How special to have the photos of you when you were little wearing something created by your mom :o)
