Congrats on the new purchase. I would be curious to see some of the pictures you take with your new camera.
My camera gear is an Olympus E-500 and Olympus E-1 with batter grip and flash. I use a macro, telephoto and wide angle lens. I soon hope to upgrade to a Nikon D90. But haven't completely justified the cost! :D
For photo editing software I use Photoshop elements and I invested in a program called Nik Color Efex. It is a filter software so you can do all kinds of amazing photo editing to your photo. You can go to the Nik Software sight and do a 30 day trial. It is expensive but it has been definately worth the money. I almost bought photoshop CS 3 over this software but I am glad I didn't. It is userfriendly and super easy to use. It also integrates with photoshop elements so it is very convenient.
I'm still learning too. Everytime I turn around I learn something new about the software or my camera.
